Day 70

Day 70:
-Read: Helaman 6-7
-Mark: Helaman 6:3

"Every [convert] needs three things: a friend, a responsibility, and nurturing with the 'good word of God.' It is our duty and opportunity to provide these things."
~President Gordon B. Hinckley

Something to think about: What kind of friend are you to converts, members who are new to your ward, or the less-active? What things do you do to nourish others with the word of the Lord?

Well, I love people in general, so this isn't really that hard for me. But I'd just think that we need to treat everyone equally....love everyone the same. But definitely make sure to reach out to those who need it and who might not be as comfortable in/with the church yet. You don't want to give a bad name to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! And especially since Christ's name is in our title, we need to be as Christ-like as possible. One thing, though, when reaching out: don't make them feel stupid as if they know nothing. Don't assume that. So when answering questions do so in a non-belittling manner.
